Collin Veijer, a young Dutch racer from Staphorst, has already carved out an impressive place for himself in the world of motorcycle racing despite his tender age.
At the tender age of eight, Collin climbed to the top of Dutch minibike racing and secured the coveted championship title. This laid the foundation for a promising racing career and made the motorsport world sit up and take notice.
Collin Veijer has proven his skills in the CIV Championship in Italy in recent years. His breakthrough came in 2017 in the Italian MiniGP class, where he not only performed exceptionally well, but also won the title of European Champion. These successes were rewarded by the Dutch Motorcycle Federation with the Ben Majoor Trophy, which was awarded to him as an "exceptional Dutch talent under the age of 21".
As an apparent "outsider", Collin surprisingly established himself in 2nd place in the CIV Pre-Moto3 class in 2018 with an impressive 4 race wins. This success paved the way for him to join the junior team of the prestigious Speed Up Moto2 GP World Championship Team. In the following years, he regularly achieved podium finishes in the CIV Moto3 class and cemented his place in international motorsport.

The years 2020 and 2021 were characterized by Collin's participation in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup as well as his involvement in the CEV - European Talent Cup (2020) and the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship (2021) in Spain. These international experiences honed his skills and prepared him for the next level.

In 2022, Collin Veijer took a decisive step towards the Moto3 World Championship. Not only did he move to Spain to compete among the talented Spanish riders, but he also signed a contract with the prestigious Spanish AGR team. With five impressive victories, including three in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and two in the FIM JuniorGP, he attracted the attention of several Grand Prix teams.
Collin's ambitious journey led to his debut as a Grand Prix rider in the Moto3 World Championship in 2023. The Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP Team, led by German Peter Öttl, entrusted him with this responsible task. His experienced team-mate, Ayumu Sasaki from Japan, accompanied him on this exciting journey. The Dutchman already showed a steep learning curve in his rookie season. With constant improvements in performance and initial successes, he finished the year in 22nd place overall, laying the foundations for his further development.
Collin Veijer made his final breakthrough in 2024: with several podium finishes and his first Grand Prix victory, he established himself at the top of the Moto3 class. Thanks to consistent performances throughout the season, he finished the world championship in a strong 7th place overall.
In 2025, he confirmed his development and was consistently one of the top riders in Moto3. With further podium finishes and regular top results, he played an important role in the top field and finished the season in 5th place overall.
The next step in his career will see him move up to the Moto2 World Championship in 2026: Veijer will line up for the renowned Red Bull KTM Ajo Team and take on a new sporting challenge. The aim is to establish himself in the middle class as quickly as possible and continue his positive development at top international level.
