From his first test rides to the Mini GP World Series—the impressive career of young Swiss motorcycle racer Alessio Arnold.
Alessio made a name for himself in the Swiss motorcycle racing scene at an early age. In 2016, he finished 7th in the Supermoto category of the Swiss Championship in the 50cc Kids class. This was just the beginning of his impressive track record:
• 2017: 4th place – Super-Moto / Swiss Championship – Kids / 50 ccm
• 2018: 3rd place – Super-Moto / Swiss Championship – Kids / 50 ccm
• 2019: 1st place – Supermoto / Swiss Championship – Kids / 65 cc
These achievements are a testament not only to Alessio's driving skills, but also to his continuous development and his pursuit of excellence.
His international breakthrough came in 2020, when Alessio finished fourth in the Mini GP class of the CNV Northern Italy Championship in the 110 ccm 4-speed category. This success laid the foundation for further achievements in his career.
• 2020: 4th place – Mini GP / CNV Northern Italian Championship – Mini GP / 110 cc 4-speed
• 2021: 1st place – Mini GP / CNV Northern Italian Championship – Mini GP Junior / 160 cc
Alessio's exceptional performances in 2021 highlight not only his adaptability to different categories but also his ability to compete successfully in higher displacement classes.
The year 2022 brought new challenges as Alessio competed in the CIV Italian Championship for the first time. Despite a respectable 14th-place finish in the Mini GP – CIV Junior / 160 ccm class, this competition showed that the path to the top can also be marked by setbacks. However, Alessio demonstrated his determination to learn from every experience and to continuously improve.
The year 2023 began with a setback for Alessio Arnold. In Race 1 of the Mini GP World Series in the CIV Junior class (190 cc), an accident occurred that knocked him out of the race. Motorsports isn’t just about triumph; it also requires the ability to bounce back from setbacks.

Following his experience in the MiniGP series, Alessio Arnold took the next major step in his career in 2024. He competed in the Moto4 class of the Spanish ESBK Championship (Campeonato de España de Superbike) and gained valuable experience racing against some of Europe’s top young riders. The young Swiss rider finished the season in 11th place overall, laying the foundation for his continued development at the international level.
The 2025 season marked the greatest success of Alessio Arnold’s career to date. Riding for Team Fullmoto Squadra Corse in the ESBK Talent Cup (PreMoto3), he quickly established himself among the championship’s top contenders. The race weekends in Barcelona and Aragón, in particular, remain memorable, as Arnold drew attention with strong performances and two highly acclaimed race victories.
Thanks to consistently top finishes, strong qualifying performances, and his impressive racing intelligence, the young Swiss driver emerged as a serious title contender. At the end of the season, Alessio Arnold secured an outstanding second-place finish overall and was named runner-up in the 2025 ESBK Talent Championship.
Following his successful runner-up finish, Alessio Arnold continued to steadily advance toward the top level of international racing in 2026. The Swiss rider is now considered one of his country’s most promising young talents and continues to pursue his ultimate goal of competing in MotoGP™. Among others, he is supported by former 125cc World Champion Tom Lüthi, who serves as his sports advisor.
In 2026, Arnold will compete in both the Spanish junior championship and international junior series to gain further experience at the highest level. With his talent, professionalism, and tireless ambition, he is considered one of the most promising Swiss candidates on the path to the Motorcycle World Championship.
Even at a young age, Alessio Arnold has already impressively demonstrated that he has the potential to make his mark on the international stage. From becoming the Swiss Supermoto Champion to successful years in MiniGP and on to a runner-up finish in the Spanish Junior Championship, his path has steadily led him upward. The coming years will show just how far his talent can take him—in any case, he has all the makings of a successful career in international motorcycle racing.
