David Muñoz, the talented young Spanish racing driver, has already made a name for himself in the world of motorcycling. His career began in 2018 in the European Talent Cup, where he finished 18th. Although it was his first year on the international racing scene, David Muñoz showed a lot of potential and commitment.
In 2019, Muñoz improved and finished 11th in the European Talent Cup. This improvement confirmed his ability to adapt to the demands of the competition and showed that he was ready to take the next step in his career. His breakthrough came in 2021, when Muñoz finished an impressive 3rd in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship. This success was a decisive turning point in his career and opened the doors to the Moto3 World Championship. In 2022, he entered Moto3 and finished the season in 13th place. This position was a solid start, but Muñoz knew he had more to offer.
He continued to improve in the 2023 season, finishing in 10th place in the overall Moto3 standings. This progress is testament to his determination and talent to hold his own in the highly competitive Moto3. In 2024, David Muñoz competed in this class again and achieved a strong 6. place in the overall standings. These performances show that he is well on his way to establishing himself as one of the best young riders in Moto3.

David Muñoz delivered an impressive performance for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Team in the 2025 Moto3 season. He celebrated three Grand Prix victories: in Aragón, at the Sachsenring and in Motegi.
His first triumph came in Aragón, when he won by just 0.050 seconds with a courageous inside attack on the last corner. At the Sachsenring, he secured a spectacular home win by overtaking his opponent on the final lap. In Motegi, he took a lot of risks in difficult, wet conditions and took the lead early on, extended his lead and won with aplomb.
In addition to the victories, Muñoz was regularly among the front runners, which underlined his claim to a top position in the world championship. However, the end of his season was not without its setbacks: at the Indonesian GP in Mandalika, he crashed heavily and injured himself, bringing his strong season to a premature end.
Overall, David Muñoz offered a mixture of speed, courage and consistent performance - a performance that clearly shows his great potential in the Moto3 class.
David Muñoz will continue to race for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Team in 2026. His new team-mate will be Spaniard David Almansa. With full ambition, both want to fight for the top again and further consolidate their position in the Moto3 World Championship.
