Marvin Fritz was born on April 20, 1993 and grew up in an environment that fostered his passion for motorsport. He took part in his first race at the age of four, a 50cc motocross event in Schefflenz. This early interest was to be the start of a remarkable racing career.
The young racing driver has two outstanding role models who have inspired him in his career: Valentino Rossi and James Stewart. These motorsport legends have played a key role in shaping Marvin's enthusiasm for racing and his ambition to go far in the racing world.
Marvin Fritz also has his favorite tracks where he demonstrates his skills. Jerez, Assen, Hockenheimring and Zolder are among the tracks he particularly appreciates. These circuits are known for their challenging corners and unforgettable races, and Fritz has put in impressive performances on these tracks.
In 2014, he was crowned International German Champion in the IDM Supersport 600 class. His success continued when he finished 4th in the IDM Superstock 1000 in 2015 and was crowned IDM SUPERBIKE champion in 2016.
Fritz also showed his skills on the international stage. In 2017, he secured 3rd place in the FIM EWC Endurance World Championship. He repeated this success in the following years, finishing 6th in 2018 and 4th in 2019 in the same championship, taking first place in the 8-hour race in Slovakia.
Fritz also proved his talent in guest starts, such as in the IDM at the Hockenheimring in 2019, where he achieved pole position and finished 2nd and 1st in the races. In 2020, he achieved the title of Vice World Champion in the FIM Endurance World Championship.
Although 2021 brought some challenges and Fritz finished 24th in the World Superbike Championship, he was not discouraged. His perseverance finally paid off when he was crowned champion in the 2023 FIM EWC Endurance World Championship, underlining his exceptional talent and determination in motorsport.

In 2024, Marvin Fritz once again competed for the Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team in the FIM Endurance World Championship. After winning the title the previous year, the team battled throughout the season to regain the crown in endurance racing and impressed with consistently strong performances and podium finishes. In the end, the Austrian Yamaha works team secured second place overall in the world championship.
The successful return to the top followed in 2025: together with his teammates Karel Hanika and Jason O'Halloran, Marvin Fritz and the YART team were once again crowned world champions in the FIM EWC. With victories and a consistently strong season performance, the team prevailed in the title fight and underlined its exceptional position in international endurance racing.
For 2026, Fritz is relying on proven continuity: he will remain part of the Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team and the rider pairing will also remain unchanged. As reigning world champions, the team is entering the new season with a clear goal - to defend its title and further consolidate its leading position in the endurance world championship.
