10.10.2021

What does this acid regulation say?

What sounds complicated is quickly summarized in one sentence for the end consumer:
As a private customer, you can no longer buy batteries with acid packs or loose battery acid.

What does this mean for motorcycle batteries with acid pack?

You can still buy these motorcycle batteries from your dealer. The dealer only has to fill the battery directly on site. Only when the battery is filled can the seller hand it over to you as the end customer for installation. This filling process can take around 15 minutes, so you should either allow a little more time when buying the battery or inform your dealer in advance so that he can prepare the battery for your arrival.
From our range this concerns the intAct series Bike-Power Classic and Bike-Power AGM, as well as the Exide Bike Conventional and Bike AGM.

What alternatives do I have to the classic battery with acid pack?
