The intAct ChargeBox charger enables reliable trickle charging over long periods of time – without the risk of overcharging. Once fully charged, the device automatically switches to a gentle trickle mode with pulse charging, which keeps the battery voltage stable. This ensures that the battery remains fully functional and ready for use even during longer periods of inactivity, such as in winter.
Charge monitoring
The intAct ChargeBox automatically detects when a load is acting on the battery during charging and dynamically adjusts the charging current. This intelligent charger ensures a constant voltage and protects the battery from voltage drops. A stable power supply is guaranteed, especially when multiple consumers are in operation at the same time.
Diagnostics
The intAct ChargeBox charger has an integrated diagnostic system with a visual display. It reliably detects problems such as reverse polarity, undervoltage, or defective batteries and clearly signals them via LEDs. The charging process is automatically interrupted in case of danger, which protects both the battery and the charger—an important safety feature in daily use.
Repair
With a special repair mode, the intAct ChargeBox can specifically regenerate deeply discharged, sulfated, or low-performance batteries. During this phase, the charger works with high-voltage pulses and customized charging profiles to reactivate the chemical processes in the battery. This means that even older batteries can be made usable again under certain circumstances.
Optimization
The intAct ChargeBox optimizes the electrochemical processes in the battery throughout the entire charging cycle. Precisely controlled charging currents and temperature-dependent charging phases ensure stable cell chemistry. This results in better charging efficiency, improved starting performance, and a significantly longer battery life—regardless of the battery type.
Protection
The intAct ChargeBox charger offers comprehensive protection against all common sources of error: reverse polarity, overcharging, overvoltage, short circuits, overheating, and sparking are reliably detected and prevented. These protective functions make the charger particularly safe to use – even under difficult conditions or by less experienced users.
Soft Start
When starting the charging process, the intAct ChargeBox uses a soft start mode. The charger starts with reduced current to charge the battery particularly gently. Only after a short stabilization period is the power supply gradually increased. This function protects sensitive cells and minimizes the risk of damage, especially in the case of deeply discharged or older batteries.
Robust
The intAct ChargeBox is housed in a durable enclosure that is dustproof, splash-proof (IP65), UV-resistant, and shock and impact-resistant. This makes the charger ideal for indoor and outdoor use—for example, in workshops, garages, or mobile applications. It remains reliable even under harsh conditions.
